During the COVID-19 pandemic public places such as shopping centers, schools, and parks that were once full of people are now empty. Here are some places near Cicero and Berwyn that are extremely different now that many residents are sheltering at home.

Located off of Cermak Rd. and Cicero Ave, the parking lot to the shopping strip where AMC Cicero Showplace theater calls home is now empty due to the stay at home order during this pandemic.
On a typical Friday afternoon during the spring semester, the parking lot to Morton College would usually be filled with cars as students attend classes. On May 15th the lot is vacant in comparison.
Once bustling with families, shoppers, and teenagers, the food court entrance to North Riverside Mall and the mall itself remains desolate as people stay at home during the pandemic and the mall remains closed.

With the stay at home order in effect, parks in the community, such as North Clyde Park, are closed to the public with yellow tape preventing access to some rides while a fence surrounds the perimeter of the park.
