Cicero Independiente is looking for a contracted social media manager to come on board and work in tandem with our digital editor.

Payment:
The social media manager will be paid $2,244 per month as an independent contractor, reflecting Cicero Independiente’s standard hourly rate of $33/hour for approximately 17 hours a week max with an additional one-time payment of $800 for a wellness stipend (to be used at contractor’s discretion).
Timeline:
The social media manager’s contract will ideally run from June - December 30, 2023.
Job Description:
Initially, the contractor will work closely with Cicero Independiente’s digital editor to review the current social media metrics and practices. The social media manager will then work with the digital editor to set social media strategy in line with organizational priorities.
The main goals of this 17 hr/wk position will be to:
Brainstorm digital strategy and campaigns with the digital editor.
Create engaging storytelling content and deliver informational content for our community/audience, across all social media platforms.
Grow an audience aligned with our mission and values across platforms.
There is the possibility in the following years of expansion and growth in this position to have more responsibilities, pay, and hours.
This position can be fully remote or hybrid with regular check-ins with the digital editor.
