Tips if you are feeling sick:
Call your healthcare provider if you are feeling symptoms to discuss whether you should be evaluated in person and considered for testing.
The Town of Cicero Health Clinic is not doing screenings at this time and will advise any callers to contact the Illinois Department of Public Health at 1800-8893931.
People with limited access to healthcare or who don’t have a primary care provider can contact Alivio Medical Health Center for the Walk In Wellness Center located at 6447 W. Cermak Road in Berwyn. According to their website, people experiencing symptoms must call 312.850-8238 first before showing up to the clinic. This includes people who are experiencing a cough, fever and have traveled within the last 14 days or who have had direct contact with a person who has tested positive for COVID-19.
Providers determine whether a test is necessary based on the Illinois Department of PUblic Health’s criteria, which evaluates a combination of symptoms and risk factors. They will determine if you should be tested for COVID-19.
